Penns Manor 34 Juniata Valley 14
The Comets have pretty much been one dimensional all season. They have only averaged about 30 yards passing per game. Fortunately they only had to throw two passes Friday gaining 5 yards. Meanwhile their offense line dominated the game. Carter Smith (17-162) , Dallas Leasure (17-85)and Brayden Pytash (16-94) carried the ball 50 times for 341 yards rushing. Juniata Valley rushed for 27 yards. Hornet quarterback Jett Rand tried to bring the Hornets back completing 16 of 32 for 188. The Comets will have a rematch in the semi finals against Purchase Line who they beat on the road in week #10 22-19.

Purchase Line 21 Moshannon Valley 13
The Kardiac Kids from Purchase Line move on to round two. Senior John Elick threw two touchdowns and broke loose late for another. The Dragons dominated the first half only to give up an 86 yard touchdown pass. They were only able to take a seven point lead into the locker room. The Black Knights managed only 10 yards rushing on the night. Quarterback Jalen Kurten was 13 for 24 for 221 yards. The Red Dragons had 202 yards rushing. Elick rushed for 103 and passed for 119. The Red Dragons will host Penns Manor Friday.

Highlanders strong second half dooms Warriors!
Cambria Heights 40 West Branch 6
The Warriors and the Highlanders battled for two quarters evenly before the home team scored a late first half touchdown to lead 12-6. The second half was all Cambria Heights who out gained West Branch almost 2 to 1. Cambria Heights used a slew of runners to gain over 300 yards on the ground. Four different Highlanders had rushing touchdowns. They will play at Northern Cambria next Friday in a rematch of their week #10 game. The Highlanders loss that game 28-11 at home.
