Indians Vs Seals part II

The Indians travel to the town College Football Hall of Fame member  Amos Alonzo Stagg once called home and I’m here to talk about it

Coming into the ball game there are few teams hotter than the Selinsgrove Seals, winners of their last 10 games and sitting at 12-0-1 on the year. They are led by senior three sport letter winner and bruiserback, Tucker Teats. Teats has been rewriting the Selinsgrove record books all season long, scoring in all three phases to the tune of 37 touchdowns. The breakdown being 31 rushing, 3 receiving and 2 in the return game. The Seals don’t throw the ball to  often, but they are proficient enough in that realm that you can’t key in on Teats one hundred percent. Senior quarterback, Mark Pastore, has logged 1,475 yards and 19 scoring tosses.

Juniata
The Indians, much like Selinsgrove, do a little bit of everything.

Following an 0-3 start no man, woman or child could’ve or would’ve predicted the Indians would make it this far. But here they are and for the very first time their football season has met the holiday savings extravaganza known as “Black Friday”. Just 8 teams remain in the PIAA 4A tournament, and for the first time , Juniata is one of them. It just so happens the Indians have drawn a date with an all too familiar foe, the Selinsgrove Seals. The Seals have dispatched the Indians at a rate so frequent, the Indians have only lost to Newport more in school history. The proverbial “buck” starts and stops with junior quarterback, Wyatt Ehrenzeller.  He’s logged 24 touchdowns through the air as well as 7 rushing TDs. His favorite target happens to be the PIAA’s third leading receiver and the Indians’ interception leader, game wrecker extraordinaire, Jasper Shepps. The Indians leading rusher is Junior Javier Lopez who comes into the evening with 618 yards. Defensively, if the Indians can shut down Tucker Teats, they should be able to slow the bleeding enough to make this interesting, but on the other hand if Teats and company can get things going, this game could get ugly quick.
