La Salle College rising senior CB Trey Hopkins (6-2 195) Saturday afternoon announced he is taking his talents across the country next fall by committing to Big Ten program UCLA. As a junior Tre led the Explorers in passes defended with 17 to go along with 1 interception, 1 sack and 31 tackles as he helped La Salle capture their second ever PIAA state title.
Trey choose UCLA over offers from Colorado, Penn State, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, South Florida, Wake Forest, Maryland, Syracuse and Texas A&M.
