La Salle College HS DB Chris Fileppo finds new home at West Virginia

LaSalle College rising Sr LB Chris Fileppo announced Sunday evening he has given his verbal commitment to Big 12 program West Virginia University. Chris had previously committed to FBS program James Madison University this past spring but he recently reopened his recruitment.
As a junior he posted 62 tackles, 1 interception with 7 passes defended and 2 forced fumbles. Other schools that offered Chris were UConn, Purdue, South Florida, James Madison, Monmouth, Villanova and New Hampshire. He becomes the 2nd LaSalle 2025 player to commit to an power 4 school as his teammate Julian McFadden recently pledged his commitment to Syracuse.
