Lackawanna Trail adds 3 to 2023 PFN Coaches-Select Class 1A All-State Football Team

The Lackawanna Trail Lions had a terrific season in 2023 with a record of 13-1, losing only to eventual state champion Steelton-Highspire. A trio of Lion standouts were key contributors in the effort, and they have made the 2023 PFN Coaches-Select Class 1A All-State Football Team.
Making it onto the 1st team squad is #20 Senior RB Lukas Gumble who ran for over 1600 yards and had 31 total TD’s.
Joining him on the 1st team is #75 Senior OT Alex Castellano, a key man on the Lion O-Line protecting both the QB and opening holes for Gumble and the other RB’s.
Making the 2nd team is #72 Sophomore OG Cooper Patterson who also helped anchor the O-Line and kept the high powered Lion offense on the field.
