Lackawanna Trail puts 3 on the 2023 PA Writers All-State 1A Team

The Lackawanna Trail Lions placed 3 young men on the 2023 PA Writers All-State 1A team.

Leading the way for the Lions is #20 Senior RB Lukas Gumble, who accounted for 31 total TD’s and rushed for over 1600 yards this past season.

Joining him on the All-State squad is #23 Junior DB Max Kimmel, a stalwart on defense for the Lions all year as he made play after play in the secondary.

Last but certainly not least is #72 Sophomore OL Cooper Patterson who helped anchor a strong line that allowed the Lions to rack up 582 points on the season.
