The Lakeland Chiefs won 52-14 over Carbondale Area to open up the season. Jackson Pochas had 2 touchdowns along with Rocco Spataro, one of which was a kickoff return to open up the 2nd half. Gavin Roberts, Chase Rosenkrans, Evan Lonzinski and Caden Cuozoo also scored for Lakeland. Carbondale got their scores from Francisco Roman and David Myers. Lakeland will host Holy Cross next week and look to keep the momentum going. Carbondale looks to bounce back next week as they will travel to Nanticoke
