Malvern Prep Senior DB Zade Johnson commits to Air Force

Malvern Prep senior defensive back Zade Johnson has shut his recruitment down and given his verbal commitment to Division 1 FBS program Air Force Academy. Zade as a junior posted 4 interceptions along with 10 passes broken up & over 35 tackles. Zade earned all Inter-Ac League honors and saw an increase in his recruitment over the spring camp season. Other schools that offered Zade were FBS service programs Army, Navy & UMass. Zade also earned offers from a dozen FCS programs such as Howard, Maine, Bucknell, Furman, Central Connecticut, Georgetown, Cornell, Robert Morris, Fordham, Stony Brook & Fordham.
Before heading out west to Colorado Springs for college next summer Zade has a senior season to prepare for as Malvern will play a vigorous non-league schedule including games against Gonzaga (Washington DC), La Salle College, Roman Catholic, Delbarton (NJ) & Salesianum (DE).
