Malvern Prep’s Chris Lake heads south to Coastal Carolina University

After capturing an Inter-Ac championship while contributing greatly as an all league player Senior LB Chris Lake Monday evening announced he’s accepted an offer to continue his academic and football careers at Sun Belt Conference member Coastal Carolina. As a senior led the team in interceptions with 4 while also notching 3 sacks mixed in with his 41 tackles. He will be leaving Malvern a league champion and heading to a program coming off an 8-5 campaign including a great Hawaii Bowl game win over San Jose State to cap the 2023 season.
