Marian Catholic’s Football Coach Stan Dakosty Retires

The all-time winningest coach in District XI-Stan Dakosty has announced his retirement as the position of head football coach by the Marian Catholic high school administration Wednesday morning.
With 326 wins in his illustrious career-all at Marian Catholic including the 1990 state championship over Farrell. This year he led the Colts to the District XI 1A championship game and finished as runner-ups. Coach Dakosty originally retired back in 2016 but returned in 2019 to try to rejuvenate a struggling program that only had a dozen players out that season.
Marian Catholic will immediately try to fill this position and will be accepting applications until it is filled.
