Temple (2-2, 0-0) lost to the No. 20 Miami Hurricanes (4-0, 0-0), 41-7, on a rain-drenched day at Lincoln Financial Field. Amad Anderson Jr. stood out for the Owls, recording career-highs in receiving yards (117) and receptions (10). His 117 yards are the most by an Owl since Jose Barbon last season against ECU. This was the fourth 100-yard game of his career.

Temple travels to Oklahoma for a Thursday night matchup with Tulsa on Sept. 28 to open up American Athletic Conference play. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN.
