The North Pocono Trojans win the PIAA District 2 4A Championship over Dallas 38-6. The Trojans finished district play 12-0 while Dallas was off of a five game win streak finishing 6-6 on the year. The Mountaineer’s last loss up until tonight was in week 6 against North Pocono. Cole West had two touchdowns and a pick, one of those touchdowns was the opening kickoff of the second half. Quarterback Chase Zimmerman finished with a rushing and passing touchdown while Josiah Gray and Jayden Taylor had the other two scores for the Trojans. North Pocono built a 20-0 lead with 10:29 left till halftime after Dallas bobbled the kickoff following a North Pocono touchdown. Dallas got on the board with 10 seconds left in the 3rd quarter as Talan Geskey found Sam Kelley for a 51 yard passing touchdown. North Pocono at 12-0 will face the District 1 4A champion Bishop Shanahan next week after their 42-21 win over Pope John Paul
