On a cold Friday night in Erie, the Peters Township Indians defeated the Cathedral Prep Ramblers 33-14.
Peters Township got off to an early lead, scoring a touchdown less than a minute and a half into the game when quarterback Nolan DiLucia connected with Ethan Wertman.
The Indians then scored again, going up a quick 14-0 on a DiLucia deep ball to Thomas Aspinall on the first play after a Cathedral Prep turnover on downs.
Cathedral Prep did not back down, however, as they went on to score 14 unanswered, tying the game with five minutes left in the first half. Luke Costello connected with Corey Allen for the first score, then it was Suhtaun Lewis with the tying score.
Peters Township was then able to add on two field goals from Carter Shanafelt before the end of the half. At halftime, Peters led Cathedral Prep 20-14.

After another Shanafelt field goal in the fourth, Vinny Sacrone found the end zone with eight minutes remaining to put things out of reach.
