Offensive Lineman of the Week: Bonner OL Chaz Ingram. Chaz is a returning all Catholic League performer who at 6-0 240 isn’t the biggest lineman but a great technician who is a powerful run blocker. A West Philadelphia resident Chaz sports an impressive 4.47 GPA. While he has yet to receive college interest for football he has aspirations to continue to play at the collegiate level. Chaz stated that going into the offseason last year he and his teammates knew that the Friars would be moving to the PCL Red Division and that would provide the program a good chance to show everyone how Bonner football is played. With regards to the Roman game last week he noted that the team knew it would be a big game to run the ball. The coaches emphasized that they remain heathy, hydrated & ready to punch anyone in the mouth. He noted “We plan on being consistent, limiting turnovers, getting big plays offensively & keeping the time of possession in our favor to have a successful offense. The team in general has to stay healthy & conditioned throughout the rest of the season to achieve a lengthy post season run”. Chaz wanted to make sure that he showed love and appreciation to a few people who helped him grow as a young man and player. Those people are “Mick Johnson, Chris Jones, Coach Rob & Coach Coop as well as a few other people. They all make sure I’m good mentally & ready to play physically. They keep me confident & help give me a drive on the field to go out and just be me”.
