The Pioneers defeated the Miners 21-7 in the 74th Annual Unico Game. The Pioneers were led by Wyoming Area running back Lidge Kellum who had 2 touchdowns. The Pioneers consisted of players from Wyoming Area, Berwick, Hazleton Area, Holy Redeemer, Lake-Lehman, Nanticoke, Wilkes-Barre Area and Wyoming Seminary. Anthony DeLucca out of Wyoming Area scored the opening touchdown with a quarterback sneak for the Pioneers. The Miners got one score on the night through a Philly Special performed by Dallas’ Brady Zapoticky and Dylan Geskey. The Miners consisted of players from Pittston Area, Crestwood, Dallas, Hanover Area, Tunkhannock and Wyoming Valley West.
