What is at stake: Winner advances to PIAA Class 5A East Semifinal
About the Panthers: Head Coach Devon Johnson’s team is undefeated this season, winning the D12 5A championship last week 30-26 over Roman Catholic.
Imhotep Charter players to watch: Senior QB Mikal Davis Jr. has thrown for 1,783 yards with 13 TD’s and ran for 478 yards and 12 TD’s. Heading up the ground attack for the Panthers is Junior RB Jabree Wallace-Coleman who ran for 1,300 yards and 26 total TD’s. For the receivers, it is a spread attack having multiple targets with Senior WR Tyseer Denmark leading the way at 30 receptions for 350 yards and 4 TD’s. Defensively, Senior DT Jahseer Whittington has 11 sacks on the season, with Senior DB Kenny Woseley and Sophomore DB Willie Norris each having 5 interceptions.
About the Warriors: Head Coach Keith Olsommer’s team is on a 10-game win streak and heads into the game off of a 56-27 win over District 11 champion Whitehall.
Delaware Valley Players to watch: So far this season, QB Logan Olsommer has thrown for 1,205 yards and 18 TD’s. RB Ryder Machado heads up the ground game for the Warriors with 1,589 yards and 32 total TD’s. WR Jayden Ramirez has 466 receiving yards and 5 total TD’s, and TE Aiden Black has 474 yards and 5 TD’s. On defense, LB Justin Kalitsnick is the leading tackler with LB Luke Brazanskas and Black playing big roles as well.
