East Stroudsburg 35 Lock Haven 21

Quarterback Sean McTaggart threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns to four different receivers as the Warriors won their 500th game in program history with a victory over Lock Haven. Bald Eagles quarterback Danny Sanchez threw 178 yards and two touchdowns. East Stroudsburg improved to 4-0 on the year. Lock Haven fell to 2-2 on the season.

Kutztown 20 Shepherd 3

Golden Bears quarterback Judd Novak threw for 146 yards and a touchdown and Darryl Davis-McNeill ran for 79 yards and a touchdown as Kutztown gave Shepherd their first loss of the 2023 season. Rams running back Malakai Brown rushed for 87 yards. Kutztown went to 2-2 on the season. Shepherd is 3-1 after their first loss.

Millersville 23 West Chester 14

Marauders running back Jaheim Morris rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown and quarterback Robert Footman Jr threw two touchdown passes as Millersville defeated West Chester at home. Rams running back Trey Blair ran for 89 yards and a touchdown. Millersville went to 3-1 on the year. West Chester now has a 2-2 record.

Shippensburg 7 Bloomsburg 0 

Raiders running back Tanner Hess ran for 100 yards and the lone touchdown early in the second quarter as Shippensburg won a defensive battle on Saturday for their first win of the season. The Huskies’ Ron Long recorded an interception on defense. The Raiders moved to 1-3 for the 2023 season. Bloomsburg is now 1-3.

Slippery Rock 35 Seton Hill 14

The Rock quarterback Brayden Long threw for 213 yards and four total touchdowns and wideout Kyle Sheets had nine catches for 85 yards and a touchdown as 12th ranked Slippery Rock defeated Seton Hill. Griffins running back Ky’Ron Craggette rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown. Slippery Rock improved to 4-0 on the season. Seton Hill falls to 1-3.

IUP 30 Mercyhurst 13

Crimson Hawks quarterback Karst Hunter threw for 185 yards and a touchdown. He also added 80 yards and two touchdowns. The defense recorded four sacks as IUP defeated Mercyhurst 30-13. Lakers quarterback Adam Urena threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns to Rylan Davidson. IUP goes to 3-1 for the 2023 season. The Lakers went to 1-3 on the year.

California (PA) 31 Edinboro 10

Vulcans quarterback Davis Black threw for 219 yards and a touchdown and running back Eric McKan III added two rushing touchdowns as California (PA) defeated Edinboro to improve to 2-1. Fighting Scotts quarterback Bo Swartz scored the lone touchdown as Edinboro fell to 1-3.

Gannon 27 Clarion 20

Golden Knight quarterback Nate Mikell threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns and Donell Mason had six catches for 164 yards and two touchdowns as Gannon overcame a 20 point deficit to defeat Clarion for their first win of the 2023 season. Golden Eagles quarterback Anthony Guercio and running back Paul Newton each added a rushing touchdown as Clarion lost their third straight game.
