
Roman Catholic’s Beals Gives Commitment

One of the more sought-after recruits in the Philadelphia area, Roman Catholic QB Semaj Beals, announced on X Sunday that he committed to the University of Akron.
Beals, who also received over 20 offers, including from USC, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, Temple, and Syracuse.
Last season, Beals threw for 4135 yards and 50 touchdowns while guiding the Cahillites to an 11-5 record and an appearance in the 5A State Championship game.
Beals already owns the Philadelphia city record for career passing yards, currently standing at 8790 yards, along with 94 career passing touchdowns, which is also the most in Philadelphia City history. Both of the records were previously held by current Philadelphia Eagles QB Kyle McCord.
