Seton Hill used a spectacular ground effort and suffocating defense to push past Gannon 28-14. Gannon put pressure on early behind a rushing touchdown from quarterback Anthony Harris late in the first quarter, sneaking in from one yard out and putting Gannon ahead 7-0 early. Seton Hill answered back halfway through the second with a 63 yard scamper from runningback Ky’Ron Craggette to tie the game up. Gannon would answer right back with a 15 yard strike to Blaine Duncan to go up 14-7. That would be the end of their scoring, Harris finished the day with 203 passing yards and a touchdown to go with, however he was sacked 7 times. Seton Hill would take over from here, Craggette totaled 209 yards on the ground and accounted for two of the three straight touchdowns Seton Hill fired off, adding a receiving touchdown as well as one more rushing. Quarterback Boden St. Marie added a rushing touchdown for Seton Hill as well as the toss through the air to Craggette. The defense for Seton Hill made sure Gannon couldn’t do much of anything, amassing 7 sacks and pitching a second half shutout. This win moves Seton Hill to 4-4 (2-2 PSAC) heading into the final stretch of the season. Gannon falls to 1-6 (1-2 PSAC)
