In the finale of our 4 part video following the Wilkes University Colonels football team throughout spring practices, we take a look at an underrated aspect of the game. Special teams are very important not just in the game of football, but here at Wilkes. We speak to special teams coordinator Heath Hoovler about the emphasis and importance of special teams here at Wilkes. We also speak to the specialists on the team about the importance of special teams as well. The Colonels have a coach on staff who specializes in kicking and punting. Mike Coe has helped the kicking game at Wilkes tremendously. Coming up on his 4th year starting at kicker Nick Volpone has broken multiple school records for extra points and field goals
