Khalil Stewart a 6-4 280lb offensive lineman at St. Joes Prep has made his collegiate decision giving his commitment to ACC program Syracuse. Khalil originally pledged to Big 10 program Maryland before recently decommiting and flipping to Syracuse. As a sophomore he earned all city and all Catholic league honors at Roman before transferring to SJP for his junior campaign. As a junior he helped Prep win the 6A state title with his stellar play throughout the regular season. Due to him being a transfer he was ineligible for the district 12 title game as well as PIAA playoffs.
As a senior he will have full eligibility and looks to help the Hawks win yet another Catholic League, District 12, and state 6A championship before heading to upstate New York where he will be reunited with some familiar faces as Coach Fran has actively and successfully recruited from the 3 Philadelphia leagues for the 2025 class. Other city leaguers committed for the 2025 class for Cuse are WR Jillian McFadden (LaSalle) and Athlete Ziyyon Bredell (Lincoln).
