Upper Dublin seniors Kyree Butler & Colin O’Sullivan have been named to the PA Writers Class 5A All-State team after completing a magical season that saw the Cardinals offense post 492 points which is an average of 32.8 points per game & the defense only yielded 121 points which average out to an astonishing 8.1 points per game which is really impressive when you factor in that their starters were out at halftime in 8 of 15 games. During their amazing run, they also captured a SOL conference title & a district one championship.  The 14-1 cardinals’ only blemish came in the state semifinals where they lost to district twelves Imhotep Charter 21-14.  Colin was named All-State quarterback after completing 67% of his passes for 2,946 yards & 36 TDs to only 5 INTs. On the defensive side of the ball, Kyree Butler was the closest thing I’ve ever witnessed to an immovable object at the high school level. Kyree finished with 87 tackles, 4 sacks, 7 TFL, &  1 Blocked punt which was an absolutely insane play to see in person.
