West Shamokin 70 United 36
The Wolves kept the Lions winless in a game that saw 15 touchdowns scored. Bo Swartz threw 6 touchdowns and ran for one more.
Marion Center 21 Northern Cambria 7
The Stingers broke a 4 game losing streak with a win over the Colts. The defense had two blocked punts that led to touchdowns and held NC to seven points.
Cambria Heights 49 Penns Manor 12
The Highlanders scored 35 second quarter points to put this game away early. Ryan Haluska and Tanner Trybus had two touchdowns each for CH. Ashton Courvina scored a touchdown for the undermanned Comets.
Curwensville 24 Purchase Line 22
The Golden Tide held on to beat the host Red Dragons in a non-conference game. PL quarterback John Elick, who threw for over a 100 yards was stopped short on the final conversion giving Curwensville the win.
Homer-Center 28 River Valley 22 OT
The Wildcats win their sixth in a row. The Panthers lose their first in the game of the year in the Heritage Conference. RV’s Rocco Bartolini scored two touchdowns filling in for his injured cousin Angelo. Homer’s Collin Troup scored three times.
