Three District 10 Players Selected for the Big 33 Game in May

Three players from District 10 were named to the 2023 Big 33 roster.  They were Christian Santiago of Erie McDowell, Nick Krahe of Harbor Creek, and Erie Cathedral Prep’s Jyree Roberts.

Santiago was selected as a tight end for the Big 33 squad.  He caught 24 passes for 281 yards and had 4 touchdowns in 2022.  Santiago also ran the ball in short yardage situations, carrying the ball 30 times for 223 yards and scoring 5 times.  He will play college ball at St. Francis University.

6’5” 295-pound Nick Krahe will continue his football career at West Virginia University.  He was chosen by the Big 33 committee to play on the offensive line where he will be a force.  He was a star defensively for the Huskies too as he was second on the team with 74 tackles this past season.

Roberts was picked to play inside linebacker by the Big 33 committee.  In 2022 he garnered 74 tackles and 3 sacks.  Roberts will play his college ball at the University of Massachusetts.
