The Tigers lost last week in a game that shouldn’t have been close, but they moved on to business for week 2. Tunkhannock was unstoppable tonight, and they got a sizeable victory in their home opener 55-7 over Holy Redeemer. There wasn’t a whole lot Tunkhannock could’ve done better. They scored on the first drive of the game and didn’t look back. By the time the 1st quarter was over it was 21-0. To put this in perspective, the halftime score was 34-7. When the 3rd quarter started, we didn’t have to wait long until mercy rule set in. Zach Latwinsky played out of his mind and with not only a stellar performance from his O-Line, but his defense, he was always out there helping make plays. It isn’t often I highlight one specific player, but I felt this one was different.
