Wyoming Area Moves to 4-0 after Statement Win over Lakeland 38-14 (Video Highlights)

Wyoming Area defeats Lakeland in a fantastic game 38-14. The Warriors of Wyoming Area were down 14-0 with 10:30 left until halftime. QB David Naniewicz ran in the first score on a tush push and aired one out to Chase Rosenkrans from 21 yards out. Wyoming Area’s pass game looked very off early in this game as the Warriors couldn’t really do much of anything. However, with 8:20 left till halftime QB Jack Gravine would get the 45 yard TD run to get the Warriors on the board. By the time halftime rolled around, this was a completely different ball game. Nick Ciampi ran in another touchdown to make it 14-13 Lakeland. A fluke play on the extra point led to Luke Kopetchny hauling in a 2 point conversion to give Wyoming Area a 15-14 lead with 2:22 left till half. Wyoming Area set up for a field goal on the last play of the half, but Kopetchny took the snap and aired it out to Donovan Miller for another Warrior touchdown and they would lead 22-14 at the half. They would keep this momentum going into the 2nd half, A high snap on a punt would lead to a safety making it 24-14 Warriors. With 7:03 left in the 3rd Gravine ran in another touchdown from 23 yards out to make it 31-14 Wyoming Area. Josh Mruk would also chip in on the fun from 50 yards out. Momentum never stopped and the run game came around for the Warriors and now they are 4-0. They will start conference play next week as they host Tunkhannock. Lakeland falls to 3-1 but still has a great season ahead, they will look to bounce back next week as they host Susquehanna
