Dom Deluca, Derek Ambrosino, Sammy Solomon, Blaise Sokach-Minnick, and now Aaron Crossley.

The Wyoming Area senior running back announced his commitment to Lehigh University late Tuesday night via Instagram. Crossley said in the post ” My dream as a football player at the age of 5 was to play division 1 football and worked every day to get there. But with saying that the job isn’t anywhere close to being done. After talking with my family I’m super excited to announce I will be verbally committing to Lehigh University. A special thank you to Coach Cahill, Coach Warren, and the rest of the coaching staff to give me such a special opportunity and making Lehigh feel like home”.

Crossley helped lead Wyoming Area to 6-6 record and a Class 4A playoff appearance. Crossley ran for 2,115 yards and 24 touchdowns last season and also added a 352-yard, 4-touchdown performance against Tunkhannock in week 1, Crossley returns as District 2 leading rusher.

In Crossley’s 3 seasons so far at Wyoming Area he has rushed for 2,633 yards and 30 touchdowns and is just shy 1500 yards from reaching the 4,000-yard mark which only a handful of players have accomplished at Wyoming Area.
