WOW! Where did the time go? in just 4 days the high school teams in PA will start the 2025 season. Before we get to the rankings, let’s review.
6A: St. Joseph’s Prep continued it’s dominance in the states highest class with a resounding victory over PCC 35-6. Both teams return a solid group.
5A: What a great title bout! McDevitt and Roman battled through overtime with the Crusaders coming out on top. Same as 6A, both return a bunch
4A: Jack Muldoon earned his first state title with Bonner. They lost a few key pieces but return a solid group. 4A is a little more wide open this year.
3A: Northwestern Lehigh High School enjoy an historic fall season with three undefeated teams, including the football Tigers. They look strong again with Shane Leh returning behind center.
2A: Troy tore it up last year. 16-0. One of their favorite wins? Taking out Southern Columbia. This year the Tigers hope to start a new streak
1A: The Kissel/Hamilton scoring parade brought BG another title. Both are gone but the Marauders look strong. So do several others including a team BG is familiar with: Clairton. 1A looks very deep in the top 10 this year.
