Pennsylvania Football News 2022 Rankings after week 4: 5A jigsaw puzzle

The PFN Rankings are compiled by our expert panel every Sunday eve throughout the season.
This week was once again a bit quiet at the top with exception to 5A which continues to be puzzling. In 6A we saw very little movement. CV drops a couple after a close game with #7 Harrisburg and Central Catholic drops out after a 3 point performance.
About that puzzle in 5A. The top two remain the same, but Upper St Clair makes a leap after an impressive performance over Peters Twp. Penn Hills took a tough loss, Roman lost to Inter Ac power Malvern and Cathedral Prep continued the PA drought vs out of state teams. Welcome to the top 10 Solanco and Chester!
The top 10 in 4A had one loss, TJ to second ranked 3A Belle Vernon. The same for 3A, just on loss. Oil City got best by Northwestern. In 2A, we see something we haven’t seen in like, well, I can’t remember the last time Southern Columbia fell out of the top 10. Bedford jumps into the top 10 and Sto-Rox returns. The Vikings have scored on defense/special teams 10 times in the last two weeks! Finally, in 1A our panel of experts was nearly perfect again. Only Northwest lost.
