The final 2025 PFN Pennsylvania High School Football Rankings: Our picks

There’s a saying among some media members: “sometimes the title game is played the week before the title game”. Our rankings staff felt that way Sunday night. Simply said, sometimes the better teams in the eyes of the beholder are on the same side of the bracket. And believe me, we have eyes. Around 60-70 sets of them on any given weekend.
In 6A and 5A, we were ok with how things played out.
In 4A, not so much. Solehi was challenged by both O’Hara and Shamokin. The Raiders didn’t put up much of a fight so, we made adjustments.
In 3A, Penn Cambria is a MUCH better team than most realize, even our rankings crew. After seeing them play twice, we think they deserved a top 2 spot.
Lansdale Catholic was thisclose to taking down the state champs. They got a bump.
And finally in 1A, Laurel and Fort Cherry both deserved a bump over BG. The Marauders got manhandled in the title game and were a fumble away vs Westinghousef rom not even making an appearance in the title game.
