Who is your favorite sports star and why?
I love Baker Mayfield. His swagger and energy, as well as his production, raise his game to heights that some cannot touch. Obviously, he had his problems in some areas in college, but I feel that all came from his competitive spirit and his need to win.
Why do you play football?
I play football because I love it. I have been playing organized football since I was about 5 years old but have been watching and playing with my family since before I could walk. June to November is the best time of year every year because I get to spend all my time with my best friends who share my passion and goal.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
To be honest, I don’t really hear anyone in the stands during games. I don’t think my parents yell, but if they did I’m not sure what they would say.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My brother. He is always rooting for me and helping me be the best. This means so much to me because it is recent. While he was still playing, our competitive nature never let us outwardly be proud. Each of us always quietly wanted to be better than the other. After his college seasons came to a close, he was immediately in my corner. For example, his current Instagram profile picture is a photo of me from this year. I really enjoy having him with me because he is a great person to inspire me, yet keep me level headed.
