Season Outlook
After an 8-4 season and a trip to the District 6 championship game last season, the 2026 Bearcats will look to capitalize on that success. The offense will fall into the capable hands of Sr. QB Reese Hughes who will have no shortage of weapons in Jr. Cole Lane, Jr Javaughn Dodson and Sr. Kobe Carthen. Defensively the Bearcats will once again be stout with a linebacking core led by Lane, and Jr. Gavin Norris and a secondary led by returning first team all-State DB Carthen and Dodson. Rebuilding the interior lines on both sides of the ball will be the key to how far this team can really go but the talent is certainly there to do so.
