This was a defensive slugfest with both teams stopping the other on every drive but two. On the two scoring drives the defense had played well up until the actual score was made. #11 (Antonio Harris) scooted in from four yards out late in the first quarter to give coach George W. Yates II team the 6-0 lead with Terron Barbour catching the two-point conversion throw the score went to 8-0.

#17 (Brayden Sanders hauled in a 24-yard touchdown pass then Harris completed a two-point conversion pass to give us the final 16-0

Coach Bell’s team had no answer on offense as the defensive line from the Blue squad seemed to be in the backfield as soon as any of the quarterbacks caught the snap. It was like the D-Line knew what was coming or they were three steps faster than the Red Team’s O-LIne.

The biggest hit of the game was when one of the players from the Blue team accidentally ran through one of the refs, who took a second to get up but was fine as he continued to work the game.
