On a sun-splashed Bishop McDevitt field, the storm clouds rolled in fast and were devastating for the West All-Stars, as the East defense created consecutive turnovers in the West’s first three possessions, leading to an early 17-0 East advantage. By the time the clock hit 0:00 ending the first half the East offense had scored on all of their first-half opportunities, while the East defense was suffocating holding the West offense to -37 yards rolling to a 31-0 halftime advantage.

The West team won the toss and elected to take the game’s first offensive possession, the East’s kicker Nate Millard from Daniel Boone blasted the kickoff out of the end zone, a theme that would run through the game. On the third play of the game, Elco’s Luke Williams picked off an errant West pass, setting the East offense up in West’s territory. The East offense drove down the field for the first scoring drive that was capped off by North Penn’s Khalani Eaton, Millard added the extra point for an early 7-0 lead for the East. After another touchback, the West offense took the field, three plays later Coatesville’s Nolan O’Hara undercut the West receiver making a spectacular interception. ON East’s first play after the turnover, Manheim Central’s Judd Novak hit Coatesville’s Tommy Ortega on a corner route to make the score 14-0. Coach Andrew Moore, from Brashear HS, West squad would fair no better on its next possession Whitehall’s Demonte Foreman recovered a fumble, once again setting Coach Ji Chapmans’ East offense up in West’s side of the field. After the West defense stiffened Millard kicked a 28 yard field goal, extending the East lead to 17-0. The East onslaught would continue, West was unable to mount any offense, once again giving the East the ball in plus territory. From there Novak dropped a dime to Levi Carroll of North Penn for a 35 yard scoring strike down the left sideline, stretching the lead to 24-0. The East team was still not done scoring as Conrad Weiser’s Logan Klitsch threw a strike to Rohjhii Atkinson of Imhotep Charter, capping the first half East scoring barrage at 31-0.

Unfortunately, the second half for the West defense wasn’t much better in the second half. The Coach Chapman’s, of Bartram HS in Philadelphia, defense refused to give up an inch. West defense did manage to shut out the East offense for the third quarter. The game also took a decidedly more chipper turn, as the second half was loaded with personal fouls and ejections. Deante Crawford of Freedom HS finished the scoring leaping into the endzone from a yard out, making the final score 37-0.

Quarterback Logan Klitsch from Conrad Weiser was chosen as the East MVP. Karter Peacock of Jersey Shore was selected as the West team’s MVP.
