Last night I made my way to Cincinnati to catch the 2021 Queen City Classic that was played at Roettger Stadium the home of the Lockland Panthers. The stadium has plenty of seating which is always a plus and the atmosphere for the All-star game was pretty good. I want to say thanks to Coach Pflug for the hospitality he always shows me and to say congrats on getting this done. Also have to thank the guys in the pressbox for giving me the roster they had, so that I can add players names and not just their numbers.

Nathan Gordon would make the games first big defensive play when he sacked #12 (Not on the roster) for a loss of five yards. Later in the opening quarter #12 would pick up 13 yards with a nice run. Keith Love (There were two number 1’s on the roster, so the run could have been made by Jerry Heard) would add twenty yards on a nice run to set up a fourteen-yard touchdown run by Antone Roberston. A two-point conversion catch failed leaving this a 6-0 game. One of the number eights made the catch but was out of bounds. (Lamont Jackson or Aries Lindsay).

The East faced the fourth and one elected to go for it, a fumble on the play was recovered by Tiontae Hicks, who picked up two yards to move the chains. The East drive ended at the 7:55 mark of the 2nd quarter with one of the number eights made a leaping pick. From there the West would get a 43-yard catch by Jahir Frierson, The drive concluded with one of the number eights making a sweet leaping 40-yard touchdown catch. One of the number ones added the two-point conversion to make this a 14-0 game, with 2:35 left in the half. The East would respond with a nice catch by Rayshawn Hammond or Naz Zeal (Both are number two on the roster) Keyshawn Stephens would convert the two-point conversion to make this a 14-8 game, with 0:40 left in the half. Nathan Gordon would recover a fumble with 4:13 left in the half to get the ball back to the East. The half and drive ended with a Jalen Stanford pick for the West.

Thomas Boyd would get the third quarter started for the East with a big 24-yard run. Nothing more would happen on the drive as the West defense again stood strong. With 8:50 left in the quarter #12 somehow avoided being sacked twice then throw a strike to one of the number eights for a 40-yard gain. Number 12 would cough the ball up and making the recovery for the East was David Russell or Daylan Long. (Both are number 11 on the roster). The West would end the scoring in this one at the 0:42 mark of the third quarter when one of the number eights scored on a 58-yard catch. The two-point conversion pass was picked by #74 (Not on the roster).

The fourth quarter was highlighted by Aquan Evans, who sacked Kamren Williams for a loss of four yards, and then he got to one of the number threes (Jaden Wood or Tiontae Hicks for an eleven-yard loss.
