Who is your favorite sports star and why?

My favorite sports star is LeBron James. I enjoy watching him play on the court. I look up to him not just because he’s one of the best to ever touch a basketball, but the way he handles himself on and off the court. He’s mature and always strives for greatness. He knows how important social media and media in general is, and he stays humble through things. You don’t ever hear LeBron James saying something controversial or making a crucial mistake because he always thinks about the things he says unlike many players in the same position. He works hard and dedicates his life to the sport and his family.

Why do you play football?

I play football because I genuinely love the game. It brings people together no other way could. You can make friends that you can later call your brothers. The sport is not meant for everybody. The amount of sweat, blood, and tears that is put into the sport is very great. Not everybody is able to put in the work and play the sport. It shows true personality from people and I believe I’m meant for the sport.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Friday Night Lights. It shows how no matter where you are from and who you are, you can do something. If you play the game and you have the talent, grind, and the heart to do something then you will get recognized and it will be showed. It truly does show what happens during high school football, and I’ve watched the movie hundreds of times and I’ve always enjoyed it.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

My dad usually is on the sideline for my games and always mentors me. If he sees the tendency of a player that I’m going against he tells me and gives me advice on what to do if I’m in that position again. My mom always cheers for me and is the loudest one yelling my name when it’s called on the intercom. She’s my greatest supporter right next to my brothers on my team and my family.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

My go to activity is got to be going to the gym. Going to the gym gets my mind off of issues that might be happening at my house or if I’m going through something. Or I love to study certain topics that I might’ve not known about. It’s great to learn things, and I enjoy watching film, seeing my mistakes and what I can work on constantly.
