What are your expectations for your team this year?
We went 3-1 and qualified for the playoffs last season, but were excluded due to COVID. We return a number of key players, but we need to work to be better than last year in key situations. We have the potential and experience to compete for a league and District One title, but need to maintain our focus and take care of fundamentals on a week-by-week basis. We return a number of OL, but we need to be more explosive on offense. Matt McCloskey is back for a 2nd year at QB and has worked to improve his passing. We need to figure out who our big play guys will be.
When your team is on offense, what are the keys to success?
We return a number of OL, but we need to be more explosive on offense. Matt McCloskey is back for a 2nd year at QB and has worked to improve his passing. We need to figure out who our big play guys will be.
When your team is on defense, what are the keys to success?
We need to stop the run first and foremost. We play a number of strong opponents to start the year and will be tested in the run game. We return most of our front 7, but need to develop key parts of our secondary. We need to be great tacklers and limit big plays.
