“Keith is going to be a two-year starter for us on offense and a contributor for us on defense this year too. He is a three-sport athlete with a toughness for the ball and his play speaks for itself. He possesses great leadership qualities and comes from a family of coaches. I am excited to see him shine in his final season. Keith Heinerichs is a three-sport athlete. His dad has been the long-time basketball coach at Haverford and Ridley before that. Keith continues to be a true throwback playing three sports and he embraces the dirty work role in all three sports. He is the ultimate coaches’ son.”

Why do you play football ?
I love to compete and win with my teammates.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Lebron James, because he had the biggest expectations of any player ever and he surpassed what people expected him to do.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
When one of my teammates caught a 2-point conversion to beat Penncrest late in the 4th quarter last year, because without that play, we would’ve been eliminated from playoff contention with another week to go.
What was last year’s season like for you ?
There were a lot of ups and downs for our team last season, we did not have as much success as people thought we would and it was hard to deal with that.
Who is the best player you have ever lined up against ?
CJ Bell from Mansfield.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
The Rose Bowl
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
The Eagles, I love the way they all buy in and really care about succeeding.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
2013 Iron Bowl, because of Chris Davis’ return to win the game.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Hoosiers, because it’s the best sports movie ever made.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Win a championship.

Golf
What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
Missing 2 free throws to almost lose the game against Garnet Valley which would’ve ended our season.
Tell us something about playing for Haverford that stands out, that others may not know ?
We have a great group of guys who really buy in and care about each other.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Playing video games, because I enjoy playing with my friends.

Wawa, they have everything there.

Somewhere warm and near the beach because, it would feel like you’re on vacation all the time.
