Two way starter for us last year and really came into his own on both sides of the ball. He will be a leader for our team and a big contributor on both sides.Ollie has become one of the leader on both sides of the ball. He Will be a two way player that will look to control opposing teams pass game and push our pass game down the field. Looking forward to a great senior season from him.

LETS GET TO KNOW OLIVER

What is the best part of playing high school football?

Creating friendships that last longer than the season.

What are your personal goals for the upcoming season?

First team All-League and/or break the school’s receiving yards record.

Coming off a 3-7 season, how important is it in your mind to kick this season off with a win?

VERY, but it won’t come easy, considering we’re 0-2 against them the past two years.

What did you learn about yourself last season that you will use this season to aid you in being a better player?

I learned that it’s okay to fail sometimes. There’s always a lesson to be learned and an opportunity to use that information for the next play — or later in life.

What is the toughest part of being a wide receiver?

Without a doubt, it’s catching a deep ball. You can feel all the eyes on you at that moment. If you drop it, it’s a big let down. If you catch it, then it can be a big momentum boost for the team.

Looking back at all of the road stadiums you have played in, which one has been the best as far as the overall atmosphere goes?

Either Downingtown East or Coatesville, for sure. Both stadiums were JUMPING. I think I’d give the edge to Coatesville though because I think it genuinely affected how our team played.

What has been your biggest achievement as an athlete?

Winning the Ches-Mont (league title) in 2021.

What has been your most important moment as an athlete?

Losing so many times last year. It let me know that A LOT of work still needs to be put in.

Where should the state finals be held?

Either Penn State or The Linc

With this being your final high school football season, have you found yourself doing things differently than you have in the past?

I tend to live more in the moment. I enjoy the little things more.

After the season is over, what would it mean to you to have earned an invite to the Big-33 game or the East vs. West game?

I would be honored.

What scares you?

Not too many things scare me, so I’ll say jump scares, to keep it short.

What was the last book you read?

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Where is the best local spot to grab a meal?

State Street, hands down.
