For the second week in a row the Coatesville football team will have it’s football game displaced. Last week the Coatesville/Downingtown West football game was first postponed, then later that Friday cancelled due to threats of violence received online.  Today the Coatesville district once again received threats causing the closure of their schools. They released the following statement:

The game was originally to go on as planned, but negtiations then began between Bishop Shanahan and Coatesville. It was then decided that the game would be postponed until Sunday at a time to be determined. The  decision to postpone was made by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Following that statement, the game again changed and is now to be played tonight at 7. No band, no cheerleaders and only two parents per player.
