Let’s meet AJ!

 

Any siblings?
I have one sister. Her name is Briana and she is 24 years old.

Do you play other sports besides football?
I only play football for high school. I also enjoy playing recreational basketball.

What have you been doing to keep yourself busy during this pandemic?
I have been trying to keep myself busy by doing body weight exercises and lifting weights. I have found a new passion in fishing.

What are looking forward to this school year?
I look forward to seeing my friends again and all of the senior year activities.

Who is your role model?
I would say I have a few good role models. First, my mom – she has sacrificed a lot for my sister and I. Second, my football coaches a lot about football and how to be a better person. They have been there for me in tough times as well. Lastly, Duane “The Rock” Johnson because he uses his platform of fame to spread a message of positivity and encouragement.

How has football developed you as a person?
Football has taught me you need to focus and work hard work to obtain your goals. The football brotherhood has has also shown me what it is like to have friends lifelong friends.

What have you found most difficult in training during this quarantine?
I would say it is definitely harder to not be in my same routine. I also enjoy working out with my teammates so working out alone has been harder too.

Favorite sports team?
I don’t have a specific team that I would call my favorite. However, I do have favorite players such as JJ Watt and Aaron Donald.

What are your team goals for this upcoming season?
Our team goals are to continue to work hard and focus on improvement as a team and individually. Overall we would love to get the State Championship.

Favorite subject?
I enjoy math.
