Why do you play football?

This is the sport I love. I didn’t know it until 7th grade, but that first time putting on a uniform at Northeast Middle School I fell in love. This sport is my ticket it out and I love the grind.

Who is your favorite sports star and why?

Believe it or not I never really watched sports as a kid or really even now honestly. Never had a sports start I looked up to. I want to be me, not a version of someone else.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most?

All the trick plays Coach Gruver put in my freshman and sophomore year, those we fun.

What was your favorite game last year and why?

Freedom game. The energy from the fans, coaches, and the players was all electric. It is every year. It’s all so intense and what was on the line for us made it an even greater game.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like?

I don’t have a person I want to be like. I want to be like me. The best version of me doing whatever I love.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

When I have time off I take advantage of every second. Football takes up a good part of your life. When I have free time I like to just relax or go shopping, I love Nike.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

I don’t have just one. Just moments with my teammates. It’s not all the games it’s behind the scenes. The locker room, the dinners, all of it. I love my guys.

What are you looking forward to most this school year?

Getting to put the Liberty uniform 5 more times and punch another team in the mouth. Getting 5 good games on film hoping for a shot at a great school.

What is your pre game ritual?

After our team dinner and meeting I go in the locker room sit in front of my locker and bump to some hip-hop, get my mindset ready to hit, dance around a little, and then get after it.

What motivates you?

Wanting to be great. I want to be successful. And I’m willing to push myself as hard as I can to make that happen.

What is your personal goal for this season?

Produce 5 great games on film to get a shot at playing at a great college.

What are some team goals for this upcoming season?

Have a better offensive scheme than the past. We’ve been underdogs for years. We are ranked 6th out of 6. Ready to prove these people wrong.
