Why do you play football?

I play football because it’s where I can express myself the most I grew up a very active child so football was just something I pushed all that energy towards. I’m glad I did because just the feeling on the turf and the shoulder pads just puts me in a zone nobody can take me out of.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

My best memory from football so far is definitely catching my first interception.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

My favorite pro athlete is Russell Wilson & Marcus Peters. Russell Wilson is my favorite quarterback because he just has so much skill to get out the pocket and put passes where they need to be it’s really amazing to watch what he does. Now, Marcus Peters, that’s my dude right there I think he’s a solid cornerback and just the way he carries his game and his swagger many things of Jalen Ramsey when it’s come to stuff like that. But Marcus Peters is low-key slept on.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My biggest fan has to be out of my mom and my little brother. My mom literally loves to watch me play and supports me in everything I do. But my brother he’s a spitting image of me he probably wears my helmet more than I do.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

I look up to my friend Zahmire. He graduated a couple of years ago and although his plans did not go as he planned for football he still pushes me. He gives me hope to stay patient and keep working and I respect him a lot.

What is your desired major in college?

Psychology

How has COVID-19 affected you?

COVID-19 had helped me find a better me if you know what I mean all the time inside I’ve had a lot of time to self reflect on decisions I’ve made and how to improve on them so although some may have been affected in a bad way I took the whole quarantine thing to self reflect.

Favorite play to run?

My favorite coverage has to be either man on man or cover four.

What is your personal goal for this season?

My personal goal for this season is to help change the culture of my team. Coming to the team I knew there was a lot to work on and last year was my first year. It didn’t go how I planned it but this season I am looking forward to changing the culture here.

Favorite pre-game meal?

fruit containers and then I may eat a snack or two right before the game.

Sports movie?

Carter High and The Blind Side

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Tennis

Most embarrassing sports moment?

Deflected the ball, but it was in the air long enough the receiver still caught it

What are you looking forward to most this year?

To spending my last high school season strong and spend as much time with my family and friends this summer.

Favorite activities?

Me and my friend to go to sky zone or bowling we really act like old people I’d say that we were really laid back in everything we do.
