What is your favorite part about playing football?

My favorite part about playing football is just being on the field and showing my talent, and I love to see my progress and see myself getting better.

What is your favorite and least favorite thing when it comes to practice?

My favorite part about practice is scrimmaging each other and seeing me and my teammates improve in the things we need to get better at. I love to compete.

When did you start playing football?

I started playing football at 9 for the Oaklane Wildcats.

After watching your hudl highlights, I was able to easily see you hit the hole hard, square up your shoulders, and then turn on the afterburners almost all at once. How do you make this all look as easy as you do?

I am thankful for my hard work and talent, but I have a lot more to learn. I can do more, but I just have to work harder. I make it look easy because when I get the ball and see the hole, all I know is to hit it.

Last season, the team struggled, especially on offense. What must you and the team do to make sure you can get back to winning football games?

We have to come back together as a team, get stronger and faster, and have that mindset that we will work as a team and nobody can stop us.

What have you been able to do this season to help improve your game?

I have been improving my game. I have been in the lab working on my craft to get stronger and faster and more explosive, working on my jump cuts and more, but y’all will see how my game improves this upcoming season.

What goals have you set, not only for yourself but for your team?

The goal is to win the championship and go further.

What is the best advice you have ever received from a coach about playing football and from which coach was it?

The best advice I ever received from a coach was to “be yourself and be great.” The coach who told me that was my little league coach, Dory.

Where is your favorite place to eat in town?

My favorite place to eat in town is Five Guys.

What is your favorite class?

Math
