“They talked a better game than they played” said someone on the sidelines Saturday afternoon. That person was talking about the chatter the players from Life Christian Academy aimed at the Imhotep football program and players.  If I’ve learned one thing in the many years of covering high school football, it’s not to give your opponent bulliten board material. The Panthers are a team you DEFINITELY don’t want to give any motivation. Unfortunately for the Eagles, they did just that. Imhotep racked up a team record 87 points while surrendering 0 to capture the first win of the season.

=As the heat from the afternoon son beat down on the field at York Suburban, the Panthers heated up the field a little more. Jabree Coleman scored three times, Mikal Davis ran for a score and threw three touchdown passes. Eisa Nealy caught two of those passes. Back up QB Joe McLeish connected with Kareem Abdul-Haaq and ran for a score. Samire Locks, Syeer Coleman, Kenny Woseley, Charles Beiser, Kahir Hood all scored….you get the picture. The endzone had a direct connected to the Panthers.
