What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
We need to improve our accuracy overall in the passing game along with sustaining our blocks on the Offensive Line.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
Under the guidance of Coach Jeff Wasilchak we played some great defense, at times last year we struggled in the area of 3rd down efficiency and getting of the field. We are also replacing some key contributors to last years team that we lost to graduation.
What are your overall thoughts on this years team?
With a completely new coaching staff we are looking to learn the athlete’s strengths and weaknesses real fast
and see where the pieces fit best into our schemes. We have some new terminology; our season will depend
on how quickly the athletes pick up the terminology. Looking at our schedule, it is very difficult but we are
looking forward to competing with the other school’s week in and week out. We are also looking for new
leaders to step up as we graduated 11 players from last year’s district runner up team to Scranton Prep.
