What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
It’s a brand new program but basing it on the 3 separate schools from last year we need to improve on the offensive line and also we need to do a better job of not having costly turnovers and penalties
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
Same scenario here being a new program but basing it on last years teams we need to tackle, tackle, tackle aggressively and create more turnovers, we need to score on defense. We need to have an attitude and play pissed off
What are your overall thoughts on this years team?
My thoughts in a single word is anxious…it’s so exciting to be a part of this. It truly is an honor to be the first coach in program history. We have a lot of skilled hungry football players on this team. They are all coming from schools with a ton of history and all off season the motto has been let’s build something special from year one. If we can get consistent line play from the big guys up front on both sides of the ball it can really be an interesting year.
