What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
We lost 2 outstanding senior HB’s in Max and Jevin, so we need some of the other guys to step up to replace what they did for us. They could run, catch, and were excellent blockers! Up front we lost 2 all league players, that we must replace. Ian Brunner will be tough to replace being a multi year starter who knew all 5 positions, and he was an all state long /short snapper for us. But hopefully, we have guys that will be ready to step up for the players lost. The key for us will be replacing the pieces we lost, and play consistent football each week. With the goal of getting better each week, in preperation for the post season.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year *
We had a great defense last year, and we return a good portion of them back. So, we feel pretty confident that the defense will come to play. What made last year’s team special was communication, with those 2 senior leaders at the safety spots in Max and Jevin. They made sure everyone was lined up, and had proper assignments. We need this team to find those vocal leaders, and continue the communication with assignments.
