On any given Friday night when the Manheim Central football team takes the field, whether it be home or away, you will always see a large contingency of Baron fans there to cheer on their team. Head Coach Dave Hahn
We have a member of the community who had a few issues in their company that put them on hard times. They’ve been trying to get their feet back under them and were looking to get a popular store, Mollys, back in business. They asked us if we’d be willing to help them and we said “absolutely, no problem”. We helped paint, removed rocks and tree roots, swept up, just really helped to make the place look good. They’ve done so much for us over the years so we returned the favor.”
Athlete Tyler Fick was among the group and enjoy his experience. “It was a great experience being able to help out the community. All guys on the team have benefited from having mollys in manheim, and it was great to be able to repay them for all work they do for the football program.”
“We’re very fortunate here at Manheim with all the community support we get, so we’ll try to do 2 or 3 different things to give back. Next Saturday we’ll be helping out a local family when we have our car wash to benefit 4ColesKIDS. They’re a local organization that helps kids with disabilities to experience the things that most kids take for granted every day.”
The car wash will take place Saturday, August 4th from 8am to noon at Hondru Chevrolet, Main St/Rte 7s, Manheim. Cares will be washed for a donation and all money raised will be given to 4Cole’sKids. For more information about this great organization visit https://4coleskids.org/
