Why do you play football?

Chris: I’ve played it ever since I was a kid, I love the physicality of the game, and being with the team is like a second family. I love the atmosphere of the fans and what they bring out.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Chris: This year we won the district championship and beat Clearfield twice because the previous year we lost to them twice in the regular season and postseason, it was good to get back at them with the two wins.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Chris: Saquon Barkley, He is a Penn State alumni and I’m a Penn State Fan. He brought out his game and is a terrific athlete and a good role model.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

Chris: My parents, they participate in everything, come to every game, and just with me through the whole ride.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

Chris: My dad, he has shown me around throughout my life.

What is your desired major in college?

Chris: Business

What are some team goals for this upcoming season?

Chris: My career on the varsity team so far we’ve won the two district championships and we’ve always made it to the first round of state playoffs but never gotten past there. So I think our goal this year is to get past there and break that barrier and move forward through the postseason.

How has COVID-19 affected you?

Chris: Right at the beginning when everything was closing down we had our spring workouts and they got canceled. The first couple weeks I was just laying around and being lazy and that’s what affected me the most because the transition I didn’t have the mindset to do things by myself, so I pulled myself together and hit the weight room.

Favorite pre-game meal?

Chris: Pasta

Sports movie?

Chris: Friday Night Lights

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Chris: Skiing

Favorite activities?

Chris: Fish, hunt, and hang out with friends.
